The Time

The time, particularly past and future are creations of the mind and they are part of the Perfection and help manifest it in the present moment.
The Present
The present is all there really is. The creations of the mind are the past and future. I cannot live in the past or future, not effectively or genuinely. I am only really living in the present moment, the knife edge upon which all things happen.
The past and future are accessed through the now and support the present moment through planning and understanding. In the now I must not judge pain or negative emotions as wrong or pleasure or positive emotions as right.
In the present I experience two poles of emotions: positive and negative. The positive emotions indicate a past choice that produced happiness or pleasure now. The negative emotions are caused by a past choice that produced pain now. Both emotions can be an opportunity for learning and understanding to support future plans.
Negative emotions offer the greatest immediate opportunity for growth because they indicate where I left the path and sometimes why. I need to go into the pain of the present moment related to the past experience. I need to grieve my grief, really let the feelings out. I need to surrender to how things are in the present moment even if it doesn't seem to be acceptable or perfect. I need to really understand the circumstances and gain perspective to rebuild my foundation from the bottom of the pain. This usually takes a lot of time, more than I can ever imagine. The ego is always in a rush but God's time which is what I am working with here is very different, in the ego's eyes true understanding can be exceedingly slow, sometimes is can take years.
The Past
I see the past through the lense of the now. Without anger or judgement I need to understand my past. I need to go through the pain or pleasure to focus my awareness on my past history in order to learn from it. The Key to understanding the past is to not judge it, judging blocks understanding and learning.
The Future
I need to plan for the future from the present moment. I should prioritize, through careful self analysis to figure out what is on my path and what is not. This implies changes and planning for the future based upon understanding the past.
The future is another creation and interpretation of the mind just as is the past. The mind's most important task in dealing with the future is to set priorities on what is on your path. Then return the focus to the present moment. The lesson of the future is to move from fear to faith.
Summary
I need to be in the now.
I need to understand the past.
