NeuroSoma Massage

NeuroSoma massage is a therapeutic massage technique that applies cross tissue fingertip pressure on spastic muscles that relaxes hard, overly contracted hypertonic muscle tissue by stimulating small feedback nerves located within the muscle spindle sensory receptors. This fingertip stimulation corrects distorted nerve feedback to the cerebellum, therby informing the cerebellum of the contracted condition of the muscle, which the brain can then relax. This cutting edge bodywork actually allows the body to heal itself.

I am the only certified NeuroSoma. Practitioner in New England. I work out of my home office in Danvers, Massachusetts (978-766-2186, charlie@charlieyoga.com). Clients dress in shorts and t-shirt for the treatment.

I also use the BioPulsor (a percussion tool developed by Thomas Griner) in the NeuroSoma practice to help release the lactic acid. Thomas Griner's book "What's Really Wrong with you" explains the many ailments that can be caused by muscle spasms. Much of this is also detailed in the linked web sites.
