About Me

scorpion pose

I have practiced yoga and meditation for over 40 years. Since 2005 I have been teaching yoga at various locations north of Boston. I am an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT 500) with the yoga alliance and over 3000 hours of teaching experience.

Prior to teaching Yoga I was a Senior Software Engineer at Axcelis Corporation for 18 years. In 2003 my job was terminated. Much to my surprise and consternation I could not find another software job, despite an exhaustive job search.

To deal with the stress joined Bally Total Fitness and attended all their yoga classes. I was asked to teach yoga there and elsewhere. I get the feeling every now and then that yoga chose me, and all I have to do is say yes to yoga.

Yoga teaches that our natural state is a manifestation of the perfection of the universe. Yoga is a means by which we join that perfection in our lives by realigning to that natural state.

The story continues... more learning, more work, more education...

Massage has come to me very much like yoga, serendipitously, again it seems to have chosen me.

The Yoga Teacher Training that I took for 3 summers at Satchidanda Ashram had an anatomy module of 6 lectures. I caught the anatomy bug. Rich Panico inspired me to dig deeper into the anatomy of the human body. His lectures referenced Deane Juhan's book "Jobs Body". I tried to get more courses from Rich Panico, but my schedule just didn't fit his.

I first became interested in massage when I attended a workshop on the "Web of Chi" by Deane Juhan at Kripalu in the Summer of 2008. I found his book " Jobs Body " enlightening on the perfection of the human body.

In the Summer of 2009 I became exposed to "What is really wrong with you" by Thomas Griner and attended a Neuro Soma Workshop with Tamsin Lee in Charlottesville VA. When I completed the first of 4 modules I realized more education and work was needed in this incarnation so I completed the NeuroSoma Training and I am now a NeuroSoma Practitioner.

NeuroSoma led me to investigate LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) training. I attended The Massage School in Acton, MA. I recieved my LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) in May of 2011.

I changed the whole direction of my life based upon Thomas Griner's work and Tamsin Stewart's teaching. I am now a Massage Therapist Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I am a certified NeuroSoma Practitioner. I am working out of my home office which I share with my wife Rosemary who is a spiritual teacher.

Moneymoney

Money is the ultimate spiritual lesson. If you have joined the perfection of the universe it is not a problem for you, rich or poor. Manifesters would have you believe in some form of ceremonial magic to get the money you need and that more is always better. I feel authenticity works much better than manipulation. Have faith, be true to yourself, don't let fear override your heart's desire. Joining the perfection of your current financial circumstance manifests true prosperity, by completely joining all that situation entails. Wealthy or poor, we don't have enough money, because of the emptiness in our lives. We try to fill that void with money and the things money buys.

Money is the means by which we balance the energy between every individual or group. If there is an imbalance, you may need to rebalance the energy/money. If you have doubts, don't rebalance, just wait until you are sure, this is a simple way to learn how to follow your guidance, which is so important to manifest and connect to the perfection of the universe. If your guidance clearly indicates a you need to rebalance in any domain you should feel the need 3 distinct times and then work to rebalance by the way that feels right (giving, hiring, contracting etc.).
Namaste, Charlie
